Job Description: Assistant; Photography, Videographer and Post Production
Location: South East England – Gatwick area preferred

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and creative individual to join our lead photographers on a regular basis as an assistant for photography, videography and post-production. This entry-level position is perfect for a recent university or college graduate who is passionate about developing their career in a thriving creative industry. The ideal candidate should be reliable, eager to learn, and capable of supporting the creative process in a fast-paced commercial image production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Photography Assistance:
o Assist the lead photographers during photo shoots by managing equipment and setting up cameras, lighting, backdrops, and props.
o Help organise and prepare property interiors during the shoot.
o Provide support in capturing images, adjusting settings and assisting with the overall production process.
· Videography Assistance:
o Support our lead videographer whilst shooting video content for various projects (e.g. events, product launches and promotional videos).
o Assist with camera setups, lighting, and audio equipment.
o Help in maintaining and organising video footage during shoots.
o Provide assistance in editing, file management and assembling video footage as required.
· Image Retouching and Editing:
o We will teach you our unique photo editing techniques enabling you to process and deliver our finished images ensuring the final content aligns with the creative vision.
o Use editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) to adjust colours, lighting, and other visual elements (extensive training will be provided).
o Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of edited photos and videos.
o Communicate with the team to understand the desired editing style and apply it consistently.
Skills and Requirements:
Enthusiasm for architectural property photography, videography, and image editing.
Creative mindset and keen eye for detail.
Keen to utilise AI software capabilities.
Basic understanding of photography and videography principles.
Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar programs (training will be provided where necessary).
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to handle equipment carefully and responsibly.
Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
No previous professional experience required, but a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical aptitude is a plus.
Full UK drivers licence and regular use of a car is extremely useful.
